Art Monday's

Class, again, was not very special this week. We did some shading and vanishing point stuff...I am looking forward to next class because we are planning on making masks which should be fun.

For some reason my computer is not letting me download pic's right now. It keeps saying that my Microsoft internet explorer is having issues and can not solve the prob (shutting down immediately after). What's up!

Art Monday

Not much happened in class, except for some "vanishing-point", and shading activites (also listening to the Proff. rattle on about her peace-corp days). We are also suppose to be looking @ artist to share with the class everyweek, and this week I chose Degas! This is one of his many pieces...

I'm IT!

I have been tagged by a couple of peeps about writing 20 things about my self... This is going to be very interesting and a bit tricky...Here goes...

1- I LOVE "my time".
2-a cup of coffee, toast and the newspaper are GREAT together
3-sometimes I wish I had someone that was MINE!
4-my fave color is blue in many shades and tints
5-I enjoy cooking anything with onions (even though I have rank-ass- breath after!)
6-masturbation is the BOMB!!
7-my friends are all the best people, even if they are all a little neurotic sometimes;-}
8-I enjoy the company of my family, for a day:~) 9-I get emotional, and cry, at the drop of a hat
10-I, too, love to sing my ass off as I drive
11-I'm a "Sex in the City" JUNKY!
12-"ice queen" I've been called because it takes a lot for me to get to know others, and a lot of time for them to break through my hard outer "love" shell. I don't just let anyone in!
13-kids are cool, when they are not yours and they are not acting like little shits!
14-I'm a hand bag/shoe QUEEN!

Car Karma

I know that bad things happen in "threes", but in "Fours", this is ridiculous. I have had the worst "car-Karma"ever this year. On four separate occasions, the air filter regulator, alternator, wiring harness, and last but not least, my timing belt broke while I was on the freeway. Just look at the carnage! Please let this be the end for awhile.

Art Monday's

Our project for the day was to work together with bakers dough, and create a ocean mural. I created some of the sea weed, the sea turtle, and the merman!!! It was pretty fun learning how to make the colored dough and create something with many other people.

Bee re-inspired!

My sis came over and showed me a faster, and easier way, to make my scarf. So I have started over and I am almost finished. It has literally only taken two days of working on it! Whoo hoo!

Art Monday's

This is one of the weaving projects that our teacher has us working on. This one reminds me of a "gods-eye", but it's built differently. We use Styrofoam for the center piece, (and you can make it in to any shape that you would like too) then we use skewer sticks, placed as evenly around our shape as we can. It's not to bad ;-)

Day with Dad

Bee and I hung out with our Pop today. He was very excited to show us his new toys: plasma cutter, welder and an air compressor. We also took a trip to Gordito Burrito for lunch. (Which reminds me, I owe my sis some money!)

It was a great laid-back day!
