Well, I've been procrastinating on getting my computer fixed (which it still is not).
But this is what I have been up to for the past months...

took a trip up the coast to Washington and hung out in Portland

did a 24 hour cancer walk in Modesto

had a family reunion

been having game nights where we play poker and other games that you can drink and enjoy the company of others

getting prepared for school (books and tuition fees suck!)

eating out a lot

working

attending the state fair

museums

shopping

attending the music circus, watching great musicals!

sleeping, or trying to sleep!

and that's about it... Or until something else comes up.

Right now I am trying to focus on a Halloween costume and making a list for Christmas. Hopefully I will start purchasing gifts for others so that I can ease into the season with less stress. We will see how well that goes...

For my 30th Birthday, Heidi and I ventured to Santa Cruz and the Mystery Spot. Santa Cruz was a blast even though the rides were not open... We enjoyed the beach and some grub food as well. The Mystery Spot was the weirdest damn place I had ever been in my life, but it was total fun hanging there with Heidi. The weather was great too, till we drove home ;-( You know, it's not so bad turning 30! (Considering that out of all my friends, not including my sister, I am still the YOUNGEST!)

Unfortunately my life has been sucking right now! First thing is that MY computer in still not working well. I can get on line now, but can not actually see anything because apparently my browser is fucked up (I have no idea how to fix it...HELP). We have also been having issues with getting CABLE INSTALLED! First we needed to get permission to uncork a hole for the cable, then we couldn't get reception from the "dish" and now we can't get it because I wasn't home with a check and my id (which I was never told about in the damn first place)! Hopefully my B-day will help me out of this nasty ass funk I am in...

-we've got a stair stepper (and soon an elliptical) so that I can start getting my fat ass in shape again!

I've have been so fucken crazy busy that I haven't even had the time to get my OWN computer back up to par since Heidi, Bee and I have moved! But these are a few things you all have miss (believe me, it's worth missing ;-) :

We ALL felt like Shit the day after the move; my arm, Bee's side and Heidi ALL OVER!

The power was turned off for a day and a half because of an issue with the land lord NOT letting SMUD know that he would be having new tenants at the residents. It was so NOT fun being cold, and having a paper due the next day that was ON my computer that I could not get into to finish. NOT FUN!! Thank GOD, it was turned back on just in time for me to turn in a paper that I will probably get a fucked grade on just because I was so stressed and out of it. YIPPEE FOR ME!!

I'm still working two jobs and going to school which gives me no time for me, and JUST ME!

The first day of school sucked royally!
This is why... I went to class hoping to add, because it's a very important class for Everyone who needs it in my major...So, I attending feeling confident that it might be possible to add because I'm a senior, and she, the professor, has made it sound as though she may take adds...Well, attendance looked good cause she called many names that did not echoed back, and their was plenty of seating for all. Come to find out, after listening to her ramble about herself for two hours, she had no intention of adding those of us who were hoping to add. Her reason to me was, and I quote, "that I am given space for 25 students, and then before the semester starts they bump it to 30, so that's an extra 15 students and I just can't do that". You know, I am not a math wiz, but that is so WRONG!
I just hate the fact that their are people out there who are not very serious about school and miss classes (especially the first day), yet are allowed to remain, when people who really WANT and NEED a class can not even get in. Why does this happen to me?

We had such fun on New Years (even if we did stand in line FOREVER to get into the Press ;-) Well these are a few things that I need to do for myself this year...

1. Loose 30-40 pounds, cause I'm not liking all the weight I've put on these last couple of months.

2. Save money, and try and set up a CD (also become more stable)

3. remain close with great friends and family!

4. focus on finishing school even though I'm feeling burnt-out

5. learn to love myself more for who I am on the inside and out!

6. allow myself to let others "in" (mostly men, cause I'm okay with women. It's just hard for me to find someone who doesn't irritate me so much)

7. try something new every month / read more often for leisure

8. cook more often (healthier!)

9. try to minimalist my life

10. enjoy the new year and turning 30 years old!!!!!

My day was suppose to be super. My sister was coming home from a trip and I was going to pick her up in he car. I also had some paper work to do at school (so easy), AND, work, which I was in the process of doing, when all of the sudden... Skid...CRASH! The kids at work and I could not believe what we just witness. This dumn ass ran right into a car...not just any car, a parked car, THAT WAS MY SISTERS!
I was so LIVID!!!!!!!!!! All I remember doing was screaming for the other teachers to help out and watch the kids as I ran to get the keys. I was so angry and upset. I wanted to kick this boys ass and break down at the same time. I have NEVER felt like that before. It was the worst experience I have EVER been in, and I never want to again. All I know is that I probably would have done something stupid if it wasn't for my co-workers and Jeff. I can only imaging the things I WOULD have done if I was alone with him. You know what's sad about this, is that I found out (from his MOM on the phone) that he has only been driving for five months, AND, this was his second accident! Go fucken figure. We SO need to raise the driving age!!! But, something else happened as well. Someone that was helping me out said that this might have something to do with fate. I told Heidi this as soon as I could, and she kind of laughed about it, but sitting and thinking it over, I think he might be right. Things that were happening before this, are not happening now. Maybe...will see how tomorrow goes...

I know that bad things happen in "threes", but in "Fours", this is ridiculous. I have had the worst "car-Karma"ever this year. On four separate occasions, the air filter regulator, alternator, wiring harness, and last but not least, my timing belt broke while I was on the freeway. Just look at the carnage! Please let this be the end for awhile.

Our project for the day was to work together with bakers dough, and create a ocean mural. I created some of the sea weed, the sea turtle, and the merman!!! It was pretty fun learning how to make the colored dough and create something with many other people.

My sis came over and showed me a faster, and easier way, to make my scarf. So I have started over and I am almost finished. It has literally only taken two days of working on it! Whoo hoo!

This is one of the weaving projects that our teacher has us working on. This one reminds me of a "gods-eye", but it's built differently. We use Styrofoam for the center piece, (and you can make it in to any shape that you would like too) then we use skewer sticks, placed as evenly around our shape as we can. It's not to bad ;-)
